In this universe, there’s no effect without a cause. As a result, there’s no question about something in this universe which doesn’t have an answer, no condition which cannot be successfully addressed. Granted, it can be really hard to get the data needed to answer some questions and some conditions can be really complex, but the answers are out there. That’s what drives science. Combine science with rationality, and you have an advancing front along which mysteries are reduced to knowledge, untruths to truths, and unknowns to knowns.
Before that advancing front arrives in a particular area, you have mysteries, you have conditions which exist because, “they’ve always been that way”, or because “God made it that way”, or because “that’s just the way things are”, or something similar.
Any time you hear somebody saying that some particular question can’t be answered, or some condition addressed, for whatever reason (or rationale), realize that they’re somewhere on the other side of the advancing front. The knowledge to answer that question or address that condition has yet to arrive in their neighborhood.
Know that any time somebody makes the argument that a certain question about this universe can never be answered or a certain condition can never be addressed, that they are arguing from a position of, and on behalf of ignorance. Anyone who says that, because a question or condition has not yet been addressed means that it can never be addressed, is uttering an untruth which is anti-human at its core.
We, as humans, can learn and can hold the keys to this universe and our conditions. We can find things out – we can advance the front of humanity, for humanity.
